Liposuction is a procedure that removes rebellious fat deposits that are resistant to exercise and diet. Pre-operation

We perform a pre-operation overview including a complete medical analysis (hepatitis / AIDS) and electrocardiogram. If the patient is over 40 years, a chest x-ray is also required.

The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia and sedation, usually lasting one to four hours, depending on the body parts operated on and the amount of fat removed.

In this procedure, a cannula is inserted through small incisions and little by little the fat is removed by suction. In some areas the fat is more resistant than in others, and it is therefore essential to make a study of each patient and proceed according to their type of fat and body shape.

For the first 24 to 48 hours after surgery, the patient should remain resting at home, and can return to work and social life within three to four days. Afterwards and for a period of a month, a postoperative belt should be worn to assist in the adaptation of the skin.
