Botulinum toxin

Over the past 15 years, botulinum toxin has been used mostly for neurological purposes. However, a new field of use for this drug has been developed in the treatment of mimic facial lines (expression wrinkles).

The application of botulinum toxin type A can be considered safe thanks to the minimum diluted dose used in its cosmetic application. Treatment effects appear after several days and last from 4 to 6 months. Repeated injections can increase the interval between sessions.
