Gynecomastia
The excessive development of male mammary region is often uncomfortable for men. Those who suffer from this often feel they don’t have a “masculine” chest. Therefore, the results can be very gratifying.

Pre-operation
We perform a pre-operation overview including a complete medical analysis (hepatitis / AIDS) and electrocardiogram. If the patient is over 40 years, a chest x-ray is also required.
Surgery
The procedure is usually performed under local anesthesia and sedation. If there is abundant fat, liposuction treatment may be sufficient. But if the volume is due to both fat and glandular tissue, a resection is then performed on both.
The procedure is done through a periareolar incision to work on the gland and perform the resection on the mammary button. Afterwards, the mammary gland is dislodged as a whole by resection. Finally, a liposuction is performed.
Post-operation
The post-operative period lasts about a week, depending on the results of surgery. The patient can return to normal life in a few days (3-7 days).

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why do some men have excessive development in the breast area?
This is usually due to two reasons: the accumulation of fatty tissue in the region and growth of the mammary gland. In some cases it may be due to hormonal causes, side effects of medication, etc.
When can I play sports?
Playing sports is not recommended during the first month after surgery.
Can your breasts grow again?
In most patients the excessive growth in the breast area is due solely to their own physical form. So, once the problem is resolved, the breasts usually don’t develop again.
